Certified Phlebotomy Technician Program

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION/OUTLINE:

This is a 104-hour HYBRID-accelerated 4 week, (20days), program offered to provide students with opportunities to learn and grow throughout their careers. Phlebotomy, as well as our other cohorts, aims to support and encourage students as they pursue their education and professional goals.

You only spend 2 days in class each week; LAB days, Wednesday & Friday. The remainder of the course work is completed online from the convenience of anywhere you need to be. (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays.)

Our Phlebotomy course teaches students how to effectively and safely collect blood specimens from patients of all ages. Students will also learn how to prepare and label the specimens correctly and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during the procedure. The course covers medical terminology, emergency procedures, specimen sorting and distribution. Not only will students learn the knowledge to operate as a successful Phlebotomist, they will also have the confidence to perform the skill and keep ALL patients safe in the process.

Upon successfully completing the program, students will receive a certificate of completion in phlebotomy and become eligible to take a national certification exam through National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

To take this course, students must submit their admission requirements; a copy of their high school diploma or equivalent, (employers will be expecting to see this), and enrollment application. All students must pay their tuition and fees, and complete the student orientation, which is held on the Monday prior to the start of class. For our refund policy, please email us.

VIRTUAL COHORT STUDENTS: 

You will receive a practice box/kit in the mail after registration process has been completed. (If you’re on a payment plan, you must have completed at least half your payment obligations prior to your kit being shipped out to you.)

Your practice kit will include everything that you will need to successfully complete the program.
